Martha

Martha (A06-46) Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) is a new Jefferson/Washington type bluegrass. This type of bluegrass is known for superior performance in the Transition zone but Martha excels there and in all zones in the 2011 Kentucky bluegrass NTEP trials. Martha shows superior wear tolerance and recovery with excellent summer patch and stem rust resistance, critical for sports fields and fairways. It qualifies for the A-LIST for Low Input turf with superior drought tolerance and recovery. Martha shows early spring growth and high summer stress tolerance. It has high seedling vigor with rapid establishment for repairs as well as new stands. With low thatch development and high resistance to Poa annua invasion Martha serves all your Kentucky bluegrass needs
