Seed enhancement is the process of encapsulating individual seeds with a combination of dry and wet ingredients with the goal of improving a seedling’s ability to survive and thrive. Enhanced seed comes ready-wrapped with technology intended to boost plant emergence and stand density.

A faster and stronger start can also provide long term benefits, like producing a deeper and more extensive root system that helps emerging plants access water and nutrients more effectively and reinforces them to be more resilient during times of stress.

DLF seed enhancements are manufactured at our U.S. headquarters in Albany, Oregon, which recently completed construction of a new 141,000 square foot production facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology for seed blending, enhancement, packaging and palletizing.

Our new seed enhancement line has end-to-end automation and uses proprietary technology developed by DLF that is intended to make the resulting product look and function vastly different than what’s available on the market today.
