A-LIST® APPROVED VARIETIES
The Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf (A-LIST®) is a non-profit cooperative that identifies, tests and promotes high-performing turfgrass varieties that require less maintenance inputs (e.g. water, pesticides and fertilizers). Grass seed companies adhere to A-LIST trial guidelines when breeding and testing for low-input performance, and the most promising candidates are independently evaluated by scientists at nationally-recognized universities.
SPREADING TECHNOLOGY (ST)
Many perennial ryegrass products in the Earth Carpet® portfolio benefit from the early development of aggressively spreading stolons above ground. This advanced spreading technology leads to turfgrass with greater density and persistence, as well as improved wear tolerance and recovery.
EXTREME RHIZOME EXPRESSION (XRE and XRE+)
Many tall fescue products in the Earth Carpet® portfolio benefit from the early expression of strong, aggressively spreading rhizomes. XRE products exhibit increased persistence and wear tolerance in high traffic areas. XRE+ signifies tall fescue varieties with extremely high rhizome expression and rapid tillering. These products offer superior density, excellent wear tolerance and rapid recovery.

CrosseCoat™ is a seed enhancement applied to certain products in the Earth Carpet® portfolio to boost seedling establishment and survival. The added benefits include better seed-to-soil contact, improved seedling nutrition and greater water holding capacity.
