Poa pratensis

Armada

Armada

Armada Kentucky Bluegrass (PSG 366) combines the spring and fall growth, high density, and shade tolerance of Compact-America type bluegrasses with quick germination and excellent rhizome formation. It has demonstrated excellent performance under a broad range of conditions from home lawns to golf fairways. It is highly recommended for those areas where stem rust during establishment has become an issue. Armada is particularly well adapted to medium and lower maintenance situations. It is a very dense, low growing variety with a dark green color and mediumfine leaf texture.
