Sombrero Kentucky Bluegrass (CP78-9068) with is an Aggressive Limousine” type Kentucky bluegrass with excellent wear, heat, and drought tolerance. Quick to establish, the hardy, dense, durable turf produced easily repairs itself due to an extensive rhizome system. Sombrero features a medium green color and is well adapted to a wide range of soils and climatic conditions. The dense turf successfully reduces the invasion of Poa annua. Sombrero also has very good resistance to Typhula blight, leaf spot, necrotic ring spot and other common turf diseases.
