Fiesta Cinco (DLFP 236/3554) perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne ) demonstrates the highest turf quality over all locations of the 2016 Perennial Ryegrass NTEP. Fiesta Cinco has a very dark green color with superior winter color retention. This variety also has superior resistance to Crown Rust and Pink Snow Mold and very high resistance to Gray Leaf Spot and Red Thread. Fiesta Cinco is the result of multiple cycles of selection in Kentucky, Oregon and New Jersey for many characteristics important for users in addition to turf quality. Among these is excellent wear tolerance at all cutting heights making it perfect for golf courses, sports fields and home lawns.
