Calibra has proved to do what no variety has ever done before: To be very productive under a long growing season as in UK, to be very disease resistant especially against rust in France and to be very winterhardy even in Russia! The digestibility of Calibra is high, which is related to the high sugar content of the variety. Good spring growth combined with intermediate heading is useful for early production. The regrowth and production over summer is very high. This places Calibra among the top varieties.
