Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover
Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover is a biennial legume clover crop. Yellow Blossom blooms a few weeks earlier than White Blossom and is a favorite for cover cropping. It produces a large amount of biomass and can generate a quite a bit of nitrogen. With its long tap roots, it is also noted for scavenging excess nutrients in the soil and helping improve soil drainage. Yellow Blossom is also a favorite of honey bees, and is commonly planted as an insectary crop. Sweet Clovers have a poor feed value and are not recommended for livestock feed or forage. This seed has a protective coating and comes pre-inoculated with rhizobacteria.
