Festulolium
Festulolium is a cross of perennial ryegrass and meadow fescue. It is a bunchgrass that is easy to establish due to its rapid germination and seedling vigor. Festulolium is mainly used utilized in grazing pastures, but it can also be cut for hay as well. Many of the benefits include higher forage yields than perennial ryegrass with a similar forage quality to perennial ryegrass, increased mid-summer growth compared to other cool season forage grasses, high disease resistance, superior winterhardiness, and persistence. This product can be planted alone or along with other species such as clovers, birdsfoot trefoil, alfalfa, or grasses like tall fescue, meadow fescue or orchardgrass.
