Game Bird Mix

Game Bird Mix

Game Bird Mix is specially formulated for maximum food availability over an extended period. Depending on heat and moisture, seed production can occur in as little as 60 days and extend out past 100 days. This length of time supplies a quick meal for developing birds and dense undercover for overwintering birds. Diverse plants were selected with three primary characteristics in mind: reduced plant height for hunting safety, feed quality, and seed retention. We have also reduced the millet proportion to allow easier hunting for both hunter and dog. Planting should not occur until after last spring frost date.
