SF 142 Classic Mix

SF 142 Classic Mix

Soil First 142 Classic cover crop mix is a straightforward blend of 85% Crimson Clover and 15% Tillage Radish, ideal for early planting windows such as double crop, prevent plant, or interseeding scenarios. This mix is perfect for fields transitioning to corn or other grass crops, with research showing positive outcomes in V3-V6 corn inter-seeding. Designed for areas with excess moisture or prevent plant acres, it offers flexibility with low seeding rates, making it well-suited for aerial seeding and limited application methods.

85% Crimson Clover

TERMINATION
Radish will terminate with multiple nights in the teens. If radishes survive, glyphosate and 2,4-D offer an effective control method. If crimson clover overwinters, control with glyphosate and 2,4-D.

CONSIDERATIONS
When seeded early in summer/fall, consider additional grasses to help compete with the quick radish growth. Heavy crimson clover may invite voles.
