Festuca arundinacea

Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue

Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue

Kentucky 31 tall fescue is a cool season bunchgrass commonly grown across North America in pastures and lawns. Tall fescues can withstand heat and dry conditions better than other grasses. This variety is susceptible to the endophyte fungus that is naturally occurring on tall fescues and can have negative side effects on horses or cattle that graze on the fescue grass. Please consult your veterinarian for more details. Kentucky 31 is best used in lawns, along roadsides, and waterway mixes.
