PHLEUM PRETENSE

Timothy
Timothy is a cool season, shallow-rooted, bunchgrass commonly grown in pasture mixtures and for horse hay production. Timothy grasses are well-adapted for the upper Midwest and while their shallower root systems are not suited for droughty soils, they do very well in moist, cool environments.
