Chewings fescue is a type of bunch grass that grows upright with a fine textured leaf blade. It is an excellent variety for shaded, sandy and low fertility areas. Chewings Fescue is commonly mixed with other seed types to improve durability and sun tolerance. This seed has a protective coating. Coating color may be different than pictured above. Differences in color will not affect performance.
