Little Bluestem

Little bluestem is a perennial, native bunchgrass known for its blue color. Little bluestem is one of the most widely distributed native grasses in the United States and was a staple component of the short and tall-grass prairies that once dominated the central and western states. It grows to a height of 3 feet and is commonly used for ornamental plantings and native prairie restoration. It is well adapted to a variety of soil types and is tolerant of occasional drought and shade.
