Description
Longfellow 3 Chewings Fescue is an elite variety with improvements in overall turf quality
and especially high marks for disease resistance. It will
perform well in traffic, heat and shade. With high levels of
naturally occurring endophyte, Longfellow 3 will repel
surface feeding insects, thereby reducing stress and vulnerability
to disease.
Longfellow 3 is designed to be used in mixtures, typically
with perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass or other
mixes where Chewings fescue is a desirable component. It
has a rich green color that blends well and adds increased
disease resistance and wear tolerance to the mix
